There are many types of styles, sizes, and varieties of garden clocks. The most common and easily priced garden clocks are the standard wall clocks, that either hang directly on the wall or on a wall attachment, where the clock is perpendicular to the wall, or standing wall clocks that look like small towers or posts. These garden clocks are the easiest to find in a variety of prices, styles, and materials.
There are some types of garden clocks that are less common, and even some rare clocks that might be more difficult to find, yet add a unique quality to your garden. For instance, one style is the table garden clock. From a distance the garden clock looks like an outdoor table and is usually round, but up close you will discover that the table top is not for your iced tea, but rather is a clock providing the time. These are more of ornamental pieces rather than useful clocks.
There is also the natural garden clock made of different flowers that open at different times each day. This idea began in England and many large cities around the world utilize the idea of a natural garden clock, consisting of a variety of flowers that, depending on the minute will open its petals or close them. These are often large, but if you have the time to learn about the different flowers, you can really make a unique garden clock for your garden and style it any way you want.
There are also bird feeder garden clocks that work as both bird feeders and time tellers. These can be placed in a tree in your garden or on a shelf and look like the old fashioned bird feeder homes with a clock on the outside to provide the time.
There are many options to chose from when adding a garden clock to your garden.
